1 cup all-purpose flour
2 TBS sugar
2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 to 1 cup rice milk ( to desired consistency - not too thin )
1 egg

Mix dry ingredients well. Add lightly beaten egg and rice milk. Stir . Cook on heated griddle sprayed with Pam. Makes 6 large pancakes. 9 smaller pancakes. jboland@fuse.net

quick question on the pancake recipe. you call for one egg. since the ibs restricts yolk, are you talking about just egg whites? if not, is there some other substitute? Thanks.

1 whole egg = 2 egg whites = 1/4 cup of egg beaters

You can usually (in pancake recipes) omit the egg and put in a little extra water. Around 2 TBSP. Or there is an egg replacer, I can't remember the name. It is powdered.
