Any pasta sauce recipe with tomatoes should be safe as long as it's not too high in fat and doesn't contain red meat or cheese.

I love this recipe I posted a while back. If you're vegetarian you can leave out the meat - substitute more mushrooms if you want. You can also check the Recipe Index or search the Board for other pasta sauce recipes.

If you want store-bought, Ragu's 7-Herb Tomato is safe assuming you're going to be eating it over pasta - that brings the fat percent down to reasonable levels.

If you have a Trader Joes by you I eat the Trader Joes brand organic pasta sauce with mushrooms. Its has no oil in it and its fat free. Plus its quite yummy! Also Giant Eagle grocery store has there Natures Basket organic brand- tomato basil, marinara and garlic that is fat free with no oil. Both of those brands are safe for me. Good luck!!

Shrimp or chicken Orzo
Simple shrimp recipe. You can substitute w/chicken also.
8 ounces noodles (any kind of noodle pasta) 16 ounces shrimp 1 tablespoon light butter 1 cup mushroom 1/2 cup fresh spinach 1 garlic clove, minced 2 teaspoons pepper (I use garlic pepper) 1/2 cup almond milk 2 teaspoons cornstarch 1 tablespoon parsley
Boil water and cook pasta.
Use cooked frozen shrimp, thaw and remove tails.
Melt light butter in skillet and add minced garlic. Cook mushrooms and spinach. Then add shrimp and garlic pepper. Heat shrimp through.
Add most of milk, except save a few tablespoons Mix cornstarch remaining milk. Stir into shrimp and milk in skillet. Let thicken.
Drain pasta after cooked. Add shrimp mixture to pasta and add parsley. Mix.
