Breakfast Bar recipe conversion HELP

I need help making this family favourite IBS friendly for me. Thanks

Breakfast Bars

3 tablesppon butter 2/3 cup brown sugar
2 large eggs 1 ¾ cup wheat bran
1 cup butter milk 1 cup flour
2 teaspoon baking soda ¾ cup chopped apples (dried is OK)
¾ currents ¾ cup raisins

Butter a 13x9 pan
Combine all ingredients except fruit in a large bowl and beat with an electric mixer until just mixes. Add fruit and blend. Spread evenly in prepared pan

Bake 375 for 20 minutes. Cool completely then cut into bars.

You can sub applesauce for the butter 1:1
4 egg whites for the 2 eggs
oatmeal (if you can tolerate it) for the wheat bran
soured dairy free milk for the buttermilk

As far as the fruit goes, that would be a whole lot for me in one sitting. Maybe reduce the amount of fruit??
