Is this safe for Breakfeast

Would this or any other rice recipe be ok for breakfeast or snack getting tired of ceral . I always have multi-grain ceral for breakfeast to get in more if if i was to eat that what could I have with this to get in my "if" thanks
1 cup MINUTE Brown Rice, uncooked
1 1/2 cups milk
1/3 cup maple syrup or honey
1 Tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon, nutmeg or allspice
Fresh mint leaves (optional)



Directions:
PREPARE rice according to package directions.

COMBINE rice, milk and maple syrup in medium saucepan. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes, stirring frequently.

REMOVE from heat, and stir in butter and cinnamon. Garnish with additional cinnamon and mint leaves, if desired.

If you can eat brown rice at dinner time and feel fine than why not for breakfast? As long as you sub the milk and butter of course.
