So.. Not only do I have IBS but I'm a damn picky eatter too.. I can't handle certain textures which is why I like Banana bread so much.. Even though it's full of yummy banana goodness, there aren't any of the usual fruit textures.. Only problem is, Banana bread gets old after awhile and I want something else..

If this is my Banana bread recipe ·

4-5 ripe bananas, mashed
· 2/3 cup white sugar
· 2 eggs
· 2 cups all-purpose flour
· 1 teaspoon baking soda
· 1/2 teaspoon salt

Is there a way to substitue the bananas for say, apple cinnamin, apple sauce and still actually get the flavour of the sauce? or would I have to add more cinnamin and how much sauce would be needed to be the same as five mashed bananas?

What about pureeing berries and using them? You could try diced apples with the applesauce. Check out some of the muffin recipes on the board. There are some good fruit ones.
