Mmmm - That's sounds wonderful - I will have to try that one. I tried your apple/potatoe pancakes the other night for supper. Wonderful!

I'm on here most of the time during the day because I check the boards while I am at work....especially right now because of this network being down.

P.S. My cat doesn't go outside so it's not mine peeing in your garden LOL. I hate people who let their pets roam around the city...I couldn't imagine being ok letting my cat do that because I would be worried he "wouldn't be coming home"

I know - we Canadians seemed to be getting jipped. We don't get alot of the good things that these American's do.

I think I am gonna check out Nutters (a health food store here) and see what they have to offer. Maybe that will be helpful. Because I am finding Superstore to not be so super in stocking all the foods we IBS-ers need LOL

Sharon,
I made the crispy herb baked chicken last night for dinner. We had our pastor and his wife for dinner. Talk about stress, my husband told them I was a gread cook. I made a few changes I didn't have parsley flakes so I used some dry basil and I added some salt. This is definatley better than the recipe I had with all the butter and it turned out so good. They said it was great. So thank you. BTW I am eating a little bit right now. Nothing like cold chicken for breakfast, Right?

Heidi - I thought I was the only one who made new recipes for dinner guests??? Glad it turned out good. And, there's nothing wrong with a little cold chicken for breakfast--my bro used to eat soup for breakfast when we were kids (and I think he still does!) Guess I'll have to try it. ! So many recipes, so little time

This sounds good, but does the box potatoes have milk in them? I can't eat anything that has whey in it.

Karen - The box of potato flakes is gone now but I have Betty Crocker Potato Buds and the ingr are:

Dried Idaho Potatoes, mono and diglycerides (to improve texture), freshness protected by sodium bisulfite and BHT.

Next time you go to the store, read the box on the potato flakes.

If they're instant, they shouldn't have milk or whey in them yet.

Hi Lana Marie
I'm just new to this Forum and I live in B.C. and we have a Nutters store here and I'm going to go and check to see what they recommend for IBS. Thought I would let you know.
