Thanks guys! I bought Shady Brook Farms Lean Ground Turkey Burgers and I'll use a patty for either a burger or I crumble it up to make it with pasta or taco salad. I always thought that any ground meat was made out of parts 'o parts so I wasn't too sure. Ooooh I can't wait to eat pasta with ground turkey again! And taco salad! Yeehaa!

And Sand, I haven't forgotten about you. Chicken Tetrazzini is on the horizon...

I use ground turkey breast about twice a week - in place of hamburger in spaghetti & last night I made turkey burgers..it's pretty bland so make sure you season it up!

Not honey I don't I just use the burger and some toms olives rice cheese french or catalina dressing and some blue corn chips and brown rice and sometimes instead of chips i put them in soft shells with sour cream (safe sc) one of my husbands favorties is grilled chicken with rice with the olives cheese and toms and rice and rolled them in a shell if you have like a george formen roll them up burrito style and put them in there it melts everything and makes them crunchey ohhh good (he has refired beans to his!!sorry thats all i have can't do spices! hope this helps

Whenever I make a taco salad I would use the following quick and dirty ingredients (no exact measurements, 'course this is before IBS but I think it's safe?):

1 patty of ground Turkey
3-4 leaves of Romaine, chopped
1 small tomatoe, sliced or chopped
1 medium onion--red, white, sweet, your choice--sliced
couple of slices of Hass Avocado, cube-ished
1-2 tablespoons of Paul Newman's vinegar and oil salad dressing
Green Mountain Gringo Tortilla Strips (I can't find baked Tostitos and these are cholesterol free, gluten free, GMO free corn and the ingredients are Masa Harina Corn Flour, Non-hydrogenated canol oil, and salt)

I'd sautee the meat with salt and pepper (season to your liking). Drain the meat of any excess oil. Set that aside. I'd mix together the remaining ingredients. Throw the meat into the salad mix and I used the taco chips for dipping. It's pretty good! Even my Mexican friend loved it.
