if anyone knows the conversion of 1 stick of butter, (yes I know its a no-no) but I need to know if I can convert this to safe margarine. I found this so easy recipe for Peach Cobbler Crumb Cake: Pour a 1 (16 oz) can of peaches in light syrup in a 9 x 13" pan.Sprinkle with a box of yellow cake mix over peaches. Then top with 1 stick of butter, sliced. Bake at 350 degrees F. until golden brown. Serve with Cool whip or as is. It sounds very yummy. So if any one can help on the conversion please let me know!! thanks in advance. sue

Earth Balance has sticks. Still higher in fat so you have to be careful.

I would guess to use the amount of tablespoons that are in 1 stick of butter for the margarine.

I used to make that recipe. It is one of my sister's favorites. However, even switching to DF margarine might not make it safe. It is very rich.
