Has anyone tried making this in anything other than a bundt pan? The reason I ask is I'm planning a big party for my mom and also am trying to make sure I'll get to enjoy some of the things I make myself. Anyway, I have a special type of cake planned and I can't make it work in a bundt pan. Help?!

Yes I have made it in a 13x9 pan and it came out just fine. The cooking time is shorter with this kind of pan. I think mine was done in like 20-30 minutes. My oven also cooks things quickly too. I would start checking after about 25 mintues.

AWESOME!! Thank you so much. I didn't want to try it like that without knowing first. You're the best!

It's in heather's cookbook but probably the recipe is posted somewhere in this message board. Do a search for it. I haven't tried it yet, but have heard it's wonderful.

I have never made this one but most of the other cakes in Heathers book. Since i dont own a bundt pan (yet) i always just use a round pie pan (24cm wide). It needs a bit longer then, but it comes out great.

Have fun at the party

I always make mine in a 10 inch spring form. Works beautifully and cooks in about 55 minutes for me.

I've also baked it in a 13X9 pan and it tasted great. It did seem to have more of a brownie type texture to it.

If you do a search, there's a thread about baking the PFC in different pans and how to adjust cooking times.

I just made this cake today, and OMG it is sooooo good! I don't think it would matter what kind of pan you put it in...it is fab!
