Chicken Cresent Squares *my favorite*

Chicken Crescent Squares

3 oz. safe(soy)Cream Cheese
2 T melted butter
¼ t salt
2 T milk
1/8 pepper
1 T chopped onion (dry minced)
2 Cups Cooked cubed chicken

2- 8oz Crescent Rolls

1. Mix together everything but rolls.
2. Place about a spoonful of the mixture onto a square (2 of the triangles)
3. Pull up the corners and twist to make a pocket
4. Bake at 350 on ungreased cookie sheet 20-25 minutes

A small cautionary warning that, even with the substitutions (and I'm assuming you meant to write "margarine" instead of butter, and "soy milk" instead of milk), the fat content might not be safe. I know that crescent rolls, at least some brands, contain dairy - that would also be something to watch out for.

I use the reduced fat crescent rolls, soy milk, and soy margarine.

I have never had a problem, I know this condition is different for everyone but i love this dish.

They would be safe with reduced fat rolls. I make various things with those.
