I have an amazing recipe for Honey Oatmeal Bread for the bread machine. It is so yummy, and very good for tender tummies! Fantastic toasted! If anyone is interested...let me know.

Yum...this is a good one! I eat it everyday. If it lasts for more than two days, refrig it.

HONEY OATMEAL BREAD

Put the following ingredients in order into your bread machine canister:

3/4 c. warm soymilk (rice milk doesn't work as well)
1/2 c. warm water
1/4 c. honey
1/4 c. brown sugar (I use dark)
1 tsp. salt
3 c. white flour
1 c. quick oats
4 tsp. yeast

Set your bread machine on Specialty Cycle (or whatever your machine uses for breads with a higher sugar content). That's it! Enjoy

I may have to try it this weekend! What size do you set your machine for on this? 1, 1.5. 2 lbs? Thanks!

Hi Melissa! My machine doesn't have a setting for the size of the bread. It holds either a 1 lb or 1.5 lb loaf, depending on the quantity of ingred's you put in. I would use the 1.5 lb size, because it is a pretty large loaf. It is so easy to make. I hope you like it!

My bread machine calls for 3 cups of flour when making a 1.5 pound and for 4 cups of flour for a 2 pound loaf. This bread has 3 cup of flour+1 cup of oats, so I would put it in the 2 pound category.

That sounds great. It is a big loaf, and it sticks up out of my 1.5 lb pan. Good luck!
