I just finally bought a blender and now would welcome smoothie ideas for fruit.

You'll get a thicker smoothie if you use soy yogurt, but because I like a fuller glass, so I usually use 1 cup of soy milk. Which ever base I use, sometimes I throw in a handful of ice, too.

I usually regular lite soymilk, but you can use regular vanilla or chocolate, too (or whatever your milk sub of choice is).

My basic smoothie is one cup of soy milk and one banana.
To the basic soy milk/banana base other things I add are canned peaches or fresh strawberries, sometimes both. I think I've done mango, too, but I don't have that around all the time.

If you skip the peaches or strawberries, etc., you can also add a bit of cocoa or chocolate syrup or, if you tolerate it, peanut butter.

Note: Never, ever use chocolate soy yogurt in a smoothie.
Heck, just don't use it period. Chocolate soy yogurt just shouldn't exist at all. Trust me.

For one serving:

-1 medium sized banana
-2-3 medium sized strawberries
-sugar to taste (or you can use honey or pure maple syrup, it all tastes good)
-about a quarter cup of crushed ice or 2 - 3 ice cubes (depending on the size of your ice cubes)

Throw it all in and blend it up. You can add your soluble fiber supplement to this, too.
