I've always been a butter-only girl, as margarine tastes fake and oily. I had the earth naturals on bread and it wasn't bad, and it seems to work great in baking so far. What an excellent find. I was missing a bit of butter on bread as a snack.

It depends on what you're making... but I use a combination of oil and applesauce in most of my baking now. I can't handle butter at all, and I can't handle pure oil either. This does make cookies a different consistency, and using just applesauce by itself doesn't quite do the trick.
