Easy zucchini squash soup

This is a very easy recipe and I like how it tastes.
500 g zucchini 1 cup rice 1 small onion 2 medium carrots 2 tablespoons tomato puree dill, marjoram, parsley
Saute the carrots and onion in the diluted (with water) tomato puree. Add the zucchini and rice and add hot water. Boil until both rice and zucchini are cooked.
At the very end, add the spices, as much as desired.
The recipe sais you can add a tablespoon of oil if you want, but I don't think this soup needs any.

Hello, Can you tell me if you puree this soup? Also do you dice the zuchinni and how much water do you use? Thanks.

Yes, everything is diced, and you can puree it if you want, I don't think you need to though.
You can use as much water as you want, I didn't measure it and the recipe doesn't say Just to make it like a soup and not like a stew
