OMG!!! This is soooooooooooo good. I added finely chopped walnuts. It is really worth it.

Torbetta, Did your's ever really get that solid. Mine is still really soft. Not that I am complaining.

Before IBS, I used some of the Dixie Diner products...(but quite a while ago).....they were all good if I remember right.

But in this case, the fudge is 38% fat. Sure you want to do that?

Kandee,

After I found the Dairy Free Vegan Fudge recipe, I wasn't too worried about the mix.

What about the fat for the recipe? Do you know how to figure out the fat for recipes that don't give you the info? If so, teach me!! Please!

It will be your half of the trade for the computer training! LOL If you know, that is.

Okay. You take the total grams of fat, then you multiple that figure by 9. Got it? Then you have total fat calories. You divide THAT figure by the total calories. You with me so far?

Say, for instance, that the total fat grams were 2.5. Multiply that by 9 and you get 22.5. Still with me, Girlfriend?

Then lets say the total calories were 58. You divide the 22.5 by 58, and you get 39% fat.

Simple. It only took me 2 months to learn it!

I know all that! Remember - palm pilot? calculator included?

If you just have a recipe (the Dairy Free Vegan Fudge) with no info (grams of fat, calories, etc.), how do you figure THAT part out. Once I got that, piece of cake.

Does that make sense?

No problem teaching you. It's easy really. Want me to teach you via email or on a post?
