Warm weather recipes?

I'm stuck on ideas of what to make for dinner that won't heat up the house more than it already is.
There's the George Foreman grill and there's sandwiches; otherwise, I'm at a loss for ideas. Oh yeah, and the crock pot, but that's still hot food.

check out the index for pasta salads... you can always add cold chopped up chicken or salad shrimp to those....

I'm on a rice-based-salad kick right now, because I have a shiny new rice cooker - which means cooking without heating up the kitchen, yay! But pasta salads work too - just do the cooking at night or in the morning, when it's cooler, and it's not so unbearable.
So yeah. Pretty much all I eat in the hot weather is salads and fruit, and grilled food when we actually have propane (unlike now, sigh).
