Papayas

I want to make a recipe with papayas, where can you buy them. I live in Iowa -- do they have them here????? I sent my husband to our local grocery store, which is fairly large and they told him they do not carry. Does Walmart or Target????

You could try Walmart and Target if you have Walmarts and Targets there that sell food (we don't up here). You could also try a health food store, though be advised that they'll probably be certified organic and cost twice as much as a grocery store.

I would also try looking at the grocery store yourself. Not that I doubt your husband, but sometimes men aren't the best at finding things like that, in my experience. (No offense, guys!) Asking employees doesn't always work, because sometimes they mindlessly put the stuff out and don't pay attention to what they're actually doing.

If you don't have any luck in any of those places... well, you're out of luck.
