Ok, so I'm relatively new to this site, but I love it here! So...question for the day is...what else do I make? Mostly I do chicken or turkey meals, throwing in some breakfasts for dinner occasionally. But I'm getting tired of making the same old thing, and I'm not all that creative. Plus my husband, who doesn't have IBS, is aprehensive to try anything new. Lol, and I'm not that good at complicated cooking. So, anybody have something a little different (but not too extreme)? Awesome! Looking forward to posts, so please share!!!

For starters, there are other turkey products out there, like turkey ham, that you can try.

You can used ground turkey just like ground beef, in chili, pasta sauce, meatballs, meatloaf, tacos, and burgers. None of that stuff is hard to make, and there are TONS of recipes on the site - do a search, and you're sure to turn up something good.

Fish and seafood are also safe options for IBS'ers, as long as they're not fried or prepared with butter! I use shrimp a lot - great in stirfries, or Asian-style noodle dishes, or just skewered and grilled. You can't get any easier than baked fish - we love haddock, just seasoned with salt, pepper, and dill, baked just till it flakes, and then drizzled with lemon juice - yum! There are also good fish recipes on here; if you search for "tilapia", you'll turn up some that are really good with any type of white fish.

Hope that helps a little!

PS - I am NEVER bored with food. The possibilities are endless, even on a "restricted" diet!
