You guys are too funny! I'm LOL just thinking about BB-IBS! It would certainly be different, that's for sure!

I'm going to make this again this week. Has anyone else tired this and made any changes to the recipe (good or bad) or should I just leave it as is? It was soooo good the last few times I've made it...but a new twist is always a good thing too.
Also, if you have tried it....what did you serve with it?

I made this again last night and had left overs tonight! But I made the following changes.
Quote:
TURKEY MEATLOAF
2 tablespoons butter or margarine (or sub) Butter Flavored Pam instead of butter 1 cup chopped onion 3 cloves garlic, minced 1-1/2 lbs Lean Ground Turkey or Turkey Breast 1/2 cup fresh bread crumbs 1 egg eggbeater 3/4 cup catsup (1/4 for loaf, 1/2 for top of loaf) 1/2 cup total, 1/4 for the loaf and 1/4 for the top 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce 3/4 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Melt butter (spray pam) in a small skillet over medium-high heat. Add onion and garlic; cook 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Transfer mixture to a large bowl; cool 5 minutes.
Add turkey, bread crumbs, egg, 1/4 cup catsup, Worcestershire, salt and pepper to onion mixture; mix well. Pack into an 8 x 4-inch loaf pan. Spread remaining 1/2 (1/4) cup catsup over top. Bake for 50 to 55 minutes or until no longer pink in center and internal temperature of loaf reaches 165 degrees. Let stand at room temperature 5 minutes before slicing. Makes 5 servings
************************************************** Hubby's Review: Tell them it ROCKS!!

Made this the other night, and it was scrumptious! The only changes I did was I used only 1 T of Soy Garden & I used ground chicken breast. They were out of ground turkey when I went last week. Very flavorful!! (And yes, Mikey liked it! LOL I knew you'd be waiting for that, Shell! )

I made this last night and LOVED it! Which is funny because I used to hate meatloaf as a child, but had a sudden craving for it. I love how moist it turned out.
The only thing I have a question on is it didn't seem to hold together as a loaf, but crumbled as I put it on the plate. Is it supposed to do that? Still tasted really good!

I made this last night and LOVED it! Oh goodie!! It is always a big hit in our house and my parents like it too. Which is funny because I used to hate meatloaf as a child, but had a sudden craving for it. I love how moist it turned out.
