Bev, does your cookbook contain the nutritional info? I don't mean to be a killjoy, but looking at the ingredients I think these might still be high in fat for this diet. I just don't want anyone who's sensitive to fat to get the wrong idea.

No, I don't have the nutritional info. It's not in the book; all that WW gives us is the points. The post has been deleted.

Aww Bev, I didn't mean to imply that you should delete it completely! You must think I'm a dictator, lol. I was just hoping to find out the fat percentage so that people who were sensitive to fat or unstable would know. I know there are a lot of people here who can go above 25% without a problem, and I'm sure they would still enjoy your tasty recipe. I'm certainly more flexible in that area when I'm stable. I appreciate your thoughtfulness in deleting it, but I was simply hoping for more info.

I can tolerate higher fat desserts as long as I eat them after a high-SF meal - and I love them, so I'd hate for people to stop posting them. I just need to know what the percent of calories from fat is, so I know how cautious to be. I can, of course, calculate it for myself, but, well, it's easier if someone else does it.

I had no alternative but to delete it, because, as I said, I did not have the nutritional info. Sometimes I can get that from other WW sources, but sometimes I can't, and that was the case with this recipe.

I can eat one of these cookies and be totally satisfied, so I guess I'm lucky in that regard, because more than one is just too much fat.

Bev

Can you repost the recipe for those who can have some extra fat in their diets?

Gracie, I'll keep this up for you for a few days only, then it's gonna be deleted.

Bev, I'm sure it's okay if you leave it up. I've seen many recipes here that are higher in fat than recommended. Now that people have been forewarned they can try this when they're stable!

Leave it up! Remember that for a lot of us, it's the overall fat content in our entire day that seems to make more of a difference... cookies like this would be no problem for me, now that I'm stable. I'm sure I'm not the only one.
