Ashley, I'm so glad you liked the couscous!
I'm going to my parents for the weekend, so I think I'll pass this week... but thanks for reminding me about this game! I think I'll make something next week.

Ha! I was planning on putting up a post for this also this week! Must be cuz the holidays are over....more time to cook!
This week I finally made Crock Pot Chicken Cacciatore. The chicken came out very dry and the sauce tasted burnt. I had it in for 9 hours. I'm really confused what I did wrong with this...is it possible to cook too long in the slow cooker?
I did also make Cinnamon Raisin Bread for the Bread Machine this weekend, and that was awesome....I just finished eating the last piece!

This week I made (and then posted the recipe for) Prawn & Ginger Cakes with Crunchy Salad
Delicious! Can be used as an appetizer or a main.

I've made the crockpot chicken cacciatore before -- it was in there about 12 hours and it was fine. I had it on low. The sauce did get burnt around the edges, but it didn't taste burnt. I don't remember if I made any modifications to the recipe, though. I typically add way more water than the recipe calls for because with my commute and work schedule, the stuff has to stay in there for 12-14 hours and it always cooks way down.
