It's an ingredient in Heather's Mandarin Chocolate Sponge Cake with Sweet Orange Icing. I made it once a long time ago without, and I think it was fine, but I'd like to try it with if I could find it. I haven't talked to you in forever. I just made the cake this week. I usually use orange extract but I just realized this past week that it probable isn't the same thing. Of course this last time I didn't even have the extract and didn't realize it until after I started making it so I added more zest. I don't know that it helped but I do like the cake. BTW, I post about a week ago in living room asking for cookbook ideas. I know you like cookbooks as much as me. Do you have any suggestions ? I sent you an email a few months ago, but you're email kicked it back. Hope you're doing well also! I did make the cake a long time ago without. I think I added more zest too, I can't remember. But I do remember it was yummy! I'll have to look for your post on the cookbooks. Not sure exactly what you need suggestions on about them! It will come up as Citrus Oil--orange. $12.95 for a 5 oz. bottle.
