i had a dream about making the peppermint bundt cake!

i was at work, and in a cooking contest, but for some reason i was missing ingredients, so by the first judging (it was a two-day thing) i only had some of the ingredients for the glaze (it required turnips and parsnips, for some reason) (eew), and the cake wasn't in a bundt pan yet (not sure how i planned to transfew it), so they wouldn't let me enter. and then my mom was flying to california for the night (??!), so i couldn't get the ingredients to finish. strange, stressful dream.

but at least i dreamt that the frosting/glaze was really good.

...there are cake recipes that are beet based. When I hear turnip & parsnip, I think bitter. Roots are generally "yang" in nature or masculine. Are you bitter about a male at the moment? Hmmm...bitter & sweet. I wonder what lurks beneath the sweetness of the surface.

Okay, I'm being a goof. Good dream. I'm still having Nicoderm nightmares!

lol, kate! um, always? not anyone exactly specific, but, you know, boy angst. they say that in new york, you're always either looking for a new job, apartment, or boyfriend. i've got two out of three, so i guess i'm okay.
