I was going to make Heather's pumkin pie reciepe - but didn't realize until this morning that I have the mix, and not the puree! On top of that - the condensed milk that I was going to use for the traditional pie is bad....so can I use the soy milk? I need some ideads quick!

heather's recipe actually calls for soy milk, not evaporated milk. you did say heather's recipe, right?

if the pumpkin pie filling has spices and sugar, but not eggs, just use it for the pumpkin, sugar, and spices. if it has whole eggs, it's not ibs-safe.

On the Nestle's site this is what it says about the pumpkin pie mix:

LIBBY'S Easy Pumpkin Pie Mix contains pure pumpkin and a blend of traditional spices and sugar. Just add eggs and evaporated milk, pour into an unbaked pie shell and bake for a delicious and easy dessert.

In other words, just add the soy milk and the egg whites and you should be golden! Try not to stress out, I bet it will be fine!
