Hey, I just realized I'm actually cooking something again!!

I am trying Heather's sloppy joes.

changes --

cut oil in half
omitted celery
used only 1 t fiber
used 1 3/4 c TVP

OK, so, after mixing all the ingredients, this stuff smelled really rank. It also had the texture of soggy cardboard.

But, it actually turned out really good. It was sort of missing something, though. I mean, besides beef dripping with fat. It felt like it needed a bit of zest. I think maybe next time I'll mix some prepared mustard in -- I don't think the dried mustard quite cut it for me.

Anyway, it was still very yummy and I highly recommend it! It was also super easy and quick to make. Plus, this makes a LOT. If you're only making this for yourself, I'd cut it in half because I will be eating it for the next three meals.
