Chocolate pecan cake w/raspberry sauce

Hi all,
Has anyone made this cake? this recipe is in the eating for ibs book, just wondering how it came out, my b-day is saturday and my husband is asking what i want for a cake

any reviews would be great!

Really good stuff....(my hat's off to Heather for this one...AND it's gluten free)

I didn't have the pecans at the time so used ground hazelnut meal and it was delicious..

In fact, come to the Fall Sprawl..it will be one of the goodies the chef at the Imperial Palace makes up for our gathering...I can hardly wait!!!

BTW, happy birthday..and if you're hubby is making it..then it will taste even better!!!

Hey, the subject line caught my attention.... I've never had it, but Kandee swears by it...and it is GF so this is one that we are having the Chef at IP for Fall Sprawl make for us....I can't wait to dig in...just cuz it is GF does not mean I'm gonna pass it up..LOL

thanks for the review, ill go with it then! yes he actually cooks everything and does the grocery shopping, only been married 3 yrs hope he doesnt change hehe

I would love to go to the Sprawl, but I just had a week off and my boss would never let me take another again this year

Oh, this sounds heavenly. How did I miss it? Heather's peppermint fudge cake is also divine. I like it better with almond extract though.
