The package of Barilla Orzo says 8-2oz servings....so that is 1/4 cup right? And is that 1/4 cup dry or cooked? Does it really BULK up in volume like other rice & pasta do, or does it pretty much stay the same size as when it is dry? I'm I making any sense? LOL

It will bulk up quite a bit to where it is almost the size of a grain of rice. I love cooking orzo...adding a little olive oil, a bunch of shrimp and spinach.

The heat from the orzo will wilt the spinach...that with a little parmesan (which ever you can tolerate) makes for one yummy meal!

It should say whether the serving is cooked or uncooked but I believe that means uncooked and when cooked it will be bigger but still supposedly feed 8 people.
