They're to feel slightly soft, kind of like how an avocado feels when they're ripe. Mango I don't know, I've decided I don't like them........lol. If you go to www.wegmans.com and click on 'produce' it will list about 100 fruits and veggies with tons of info including how to tell when they're ripe.
