What's everyone cooking this week? I'm going for the Fresh Ginger Cake. As much as I love ginger, I can't believe I haven't tried this one yet! And, it's got 1/2 c of ginger!

I want to try making that Chicken Piccata that Ashley posted and I think.. Melissa made last week?
I am going to try throwing it all in before I go to work in the morning and let it cook all day while I'm at work, which'll actually be a lot longer than it needs to be but there's no other way!!

I'd also like to try making one of the breads.. Like a lemon one or something, I'm not sure.

Cheers!

Yeah, I made Ashley's Chicken Piccata. Mmmmmmm!

I made it on the stove though, like the recipe is. Are you going to try it in the crock pot?

I think that I musta gotten confused, because I looked at a bunch of recipes at once.
I think there was another recipe that WAS a slow cooker recipe that I was going to do but then decided on this one.
Hmm, dunno how I'll work that then.. maybe get the bf to do it while I'm at work, hee hee.

Mags, your ginger idea sounds great, so I'll try your Ginger Sweet Potato Muffins, except I'll use pumpkin like Heather suggested b/c that's what I have on hand. I've been meaning to try this one so I'm excited!

I wasn't going to participate this week, because I'm getting ready for a road trip and I've been so busy that I've just been throwing things on the grill... but I think I may make pizzas on Friday night, and I will make the roasted potato and onion pizza for me. Sounds tasty... and rather like the leftovers might make good cold road-trip food.

First of all, I've been running around all day and I'm feeling too lazy to cook! Second, with how touchy my IBS has been the past week, I don't think tomato anything is a good idea. But it's still on my to-try list!

It's been a crazy week this week so I haven't had a chance to try any of the recipes on here. However, I'm going to a Cinco de Mayo party tonight and I have to bring a dish to pass so I made Mexican Rice I just tried it and it tastes really good. I hope everyone else likes it too. I also am bringing ADB and I added 1 teaspoon of cinnamon to it to make it more Mexican. I'll let you know how it goes.
