Pages: 1 Rice Types?       #173447 - 04/25/05 11:08 AM Edit Reply Quote Snorkie Reged: 02/15/05 Posts: 1999 Loc: Northern Illinois, USA I know jasmine and basamti(sp) are aromatic rices, but how is rose rice different from the enriched white rice I usually buy? Is it the size of the grain or the stickiness factor or what? Thanks for the info. I *believe* that calrose/rose rice is sushi rice, and is therefore shorter-grained and sticky. If I'm wrong, hopefully someone will come along and correct me.
