ideas for a bake

Anyone have any particular bake they like to make? I'm attending an international gathering on Friday night, and have to make 2 dishes, enough to feed 8 per dish. One dish being vegeterian would probably be a good idea, I know a lot of other cultures go vegie. Any help is appreciated!

You could give mushrooms virtually any kind of international twist--i.e. Asian (Thai/Japanese/Chinese), Italian, etc. They're pretty safe...and there are so many varieties...some "meaty" varieties, too. Mixing mushrooms is fun, too. (I love mushrooms, personally)
Do you have any particular favourites/safe things? Just curious. You're pretty vague re: Bake. You can do a trillion things with potatoes or sweet potatoes. Are you seeking sweet or savoury?

Here ya go. web page IT uses shrimp, but I substitute chicken. If you left the shrimp in, it would be fine for vegetarians.
