for some reason I'm thinking oat.. but I dont' remember.. I just know it was in a box... so it had to be something that was more common, and it was KP as well as GF.. she was excited and turned it into matza meal.. I don't do GF so I do normal matza and meal...

matza isn't neccesarily wheat flour, just flour and water that have been cooked in under 18 minutes!

and thanks- doing a lot better...

she makes matza meal and matza balls from it too... so it would work crushed up and stored as matza meal for breadcrumbs for other things year round!

I might make the pecan cookies today IF I have time but I don't have potato starch. Can I substitute?

not sure... to be honest... maybe one of the GF people will know more... but any grocery will have it in the kosher foods aisle right now anyway due to passover being so close.

Thanks. I'll get some another time. But I wanted to make the cookies today first of all. I wonder if cornstarch would work.

Unfortunately I am too tired to make them. I am really exhausted with the cooking and cleaning I have done. But it is nice to get everything clean in spring. Yawn!
