I really like Soy Delicious's Chocoalte Peanut Butter craze? I think that is the name. Anyway it has chocolate flavor with peanut butter in it. If you can tolerate peanut butter it is really good. But it is a little high in the fat content area.

If you Search on "ice cream" on the IBS Diet Board you'll find quite a few discussions about what ice cream substitutes people like best. I haven't taste tested them all - yet - but so far I like Soy Dream Mocha Fudge best.

Most of the ice cream substitutes are high in fat, so approach cautiously - one scoop at a time and only after a high SF meal is the usual recommendation.

Enjoy!

Hi Everyone,

I like Haagen Dazs chocolate sorbet. It's dairy free, and so yummy. I'm not a fan of Rice Dream frozen deserts, they are not very tasty. I miss regular ice cream too.
Soy Dream is good, and Toffuti, although they are high in fat.

Tonya,

Ice cream used to be my fav, pre IBS. But, since I cannot even do the soy ice creams well I had to adjust without. Can't say I miss it now, because I found something better! I BELIEVE the brand is still Haagen DAzs, but can't really remember, but Mango sorbet is dairy free and oh so good! Very sweet though if you are not used to sugary things. I am pretty sure that they make a strawberry one, too.
Give it a try! Make sure to look out for dairy on sorbets though, some do have it, and most sherberts do, too.

BTW- don't think I *met* you yet! Welcome to the boards! What a pretty pic!

OMG, this is my absolute favorite. I can only get a small container once a month or less because I have the tendency to eat it all.

This is my favorite as well! I love peanut butter and chocolate, so I found this highly addictive.

YES! That is the name of it! It is sooo good! And I found it for a $1.00 a container at a store called Deals. Which is like a dollar store. They had a whole freezer of it and i buy 2 or3 each time I go in. I havn't been back in a while because I went a little overboard with it the last time!!!
