Chopping fresh herbs? I can't seem to get my basil, etc. very small. Any ideas/suggestions. Thanks! *hugs*

a herb chopper is great- it looks like this and isn't expensive.

Failing that get a BIG sharp knife and place the herbs on a chopping board. Use the back of your hand to press down the top of the knife and press on the herbs to chop. lift the knife moving it back and forth in a rocking motion lots of times over the herbs, changing direction too until everything is tiny. Hope this makes some sense to ya!

I don't have an herb chopper...but I will convince hubby AFTER we move that we must have one!
