Since I don't have a bundt pan, can I make Heather's Chocolate Peppermint Cake in a 13x9 pan instead?

start checking it after about 20 minutes.. it cooks a lot faster in that type of pan!

Yes this is how I make it since I don't own a bundt pan either...but just like Linz and Amie said check it after 20 minutes. I think mine was done by 25 minutes! You will love this cake it is sooooooo good! For a really good topping on it I used Brittany's recipe that calls for soy chocolate milk and confenctioners's sugar. Just mix together and pour on. I put the cake in the frig because of the topping and I liked it better cold.

I just bought one for the first time a few years ago...they aren't all that expensive and you will be amazed at how much use you get out of it.

Ended up being 25-30 minutes, give or take, and it came out great! I don't really want to buy a bundt pan; as a college student I'm not sure it's worth the investment.

when you have a real kitchen and $$ to spend- they are great o have because they make even simple cakes look like a million$... but meanwhile- I wouldn't worry about it right now
