I was reading some of the recipes and alot of them include white flour. I thought white flour can be an irritant or is it the wheat flour?

Whole wheat flour is insoluble fiber, and should be eaten with great care, if at all.

...white flour is still wheat flour, it's just that the (brown) husks of the wheat have been removed.

Linz, So I shouldn't have any white flour then if it is an irritant for IBS-C?

No, white flour is perfectly safe! As a matter of fact, it's one of the safest things possible. What Linz meant is that it's still made from wheat, it just doesn't contain the irritating parts that "whole wheat" flour contains. I hope that helps!
