I thought it might be fun to find out what people's favourites are. I've tried most of them but am still getting to the rest.

Here are my favourites (If you haven't tried any of these make it a priority they're great!)

Beverages - Strawberry Banana Smoothie
Tart Cranberry Lime and Honey Refresher

Appetizers - Grilled Shrimp Shish Kebabs with spanish saffron sauce

Breakfasts - Will's Dreamy lemon Rice Pudding

Breads - Gingerbread, Lemon glazed sticky bread, brown sugar banana bread, G. G. Grandmother's choc applesce cake

Salads - Summer chicken, new potato, green bean salad

Soups - Smoky Sweet Potato

Main Dishes - Thai Fried Rice with Cilantro and Shrimp, Mustard Dill Salmon, Jamaican Chicken with ginger peach chutney, fettucine with creamy butternut squash sce

Desserts - choc silk pudding, peppermint fudge cake, vermont maple pie

How about yours?

Kerrie

HI- I pretty new to the board, but so far LOVE the Dreamy rice pudding, the zucchini bread, eggplant hummus and most of all the chocolate applesauce cake/bread. I think I'm addicted to it! Looking forward to trying lots more recipes. Also made the german potato salad listed in Heather's newsletter and it was yummy!

I'm just starting to try the recipes, but so far my favorites are the Banana-berry Smoothie, Will's Dreamy Rice Pudding, Honey Glazed Snack Mix, and Sweet Tequila Lime Chicken.

I made the chicken recipe the other night and both me and my roommate absolutely loved it!

Mags, do you have an ice-cream maker? I'd love to try making this but don't have one. Do you think it would be possible to just freeze it?

Yes, I got one for Christmas last year. I love it!

There's only one way to find out if just freezing it will work...go for it! I think it may turn out like an Italian water ice. Then again, maybe like a popsicle?

But, all it takes is zest & juice of 4 lemons, 2 c sugar, & 2 c water (I just made some last night so it's fresh in my mind. LOL). It so easy to whip up, I think it would be worth a try. Let us know how it goes.

Sweet Tart Cranberry Orange Bread, Open Faced Cheaspeake Crab Cakes, Tandoori Spiced Mango Shrimp. I am going to try the Chargrilled Vietnamese Chicken w/ Rice Noodles tomorrow. I am looking forward to it....
