This was new information to me, so I thought I would share. I work with someone who is a vegan and was talking to her about craving chocolate chip cookies. She told me that instead of buying special chips in the health food store, she buys the generic brand at the grocery store. Apparently, they try to make them cheaper so they leave out things, like the dairy. I checked this weekend and bought my store's brand of chocolate chips. No dairy!

I love the non-diary chocolate chips. The tropical source ones are really good and I have tried the cookie recipe on the box and likes them. They even have peanut butter flavored chips. I haven't had them in months though.
