Does soy milk go sour like cow's milk?

You know, I have no idea... but it does say on the container (generally) that it's best to use within 7 days of opening, and I'd stick with that, to be on the safe side.

not so much sour as it all gets lumpy and separates. You will definitely know when it has been there too long. I think after about five days it should go down the plughole.

and it had a strange kind of tangy taste to it. I poured it down the drain. Tangy soil milk is kind of sick.

No. I have used soy milk long past the date or past the 7 day rule. As long as it doesn't smell funny I use it. I have never gotten sick. Now I have had it go bad on me. You will definitely know when it is bad.

Yeah, I use it past the two weeks, also... but have had to toss it many times when it got all thick and globby!! Yech!
