Another Weight Watchers Recipe for those of you who are into that - and those who aren't This has 3 points the way they make it and there are 16 servings.

Mini Brownie Candy Bars

Ingredients

1 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 1/4 cup unpacked brown sugar, firmly packed
1 tsp baking powder
1/3 cup unsweetened applesauce
2 Tbsp water
2 tsp vanilla extract
4 large egg white(s)
1/3 cup milk chocolate chips (if you can't handle chocolate chips then maybe substitute raisins or something else you can tolerate)

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F. Coat a 9-inch baking pan with cooking spray.

Combine flour, brown sugar and baking powder in a large bowl; mix well. Add applesauce, water, vanilla extract and egg whites; blend well. Spoon batter into pan and smooth top; sprinkle with chocolate chips.

Bake until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean, about 30 minutes. Cool completely before cutting into 16 pieces.

Those look/sound DELICIOUS - thanks for posting that! I'll be trying those as soon as I get some of the other sweets out of the house, haha.

Now I am hungry !
Those look soooo good, and easy, too!
It seems like a good substitute for choclate chip cookies, which I never thought I would have again! hopefully it will work ok with my egg replacer. I have a bag of nondairy choclate chips that are waiting to be used!

I tried these, and they're very tasty! I made mine in an 8-inch square pan because I don't have a 9-inch, and they actually came out a little puffier than I would like, so I'd recommend making sure you use the 9-inch, lol. But they're still really good! Thanks for a safe alternative to calm my chocolate chip cravings.

By the way, I used store brand dairy-free chocolate chips, not milk chocolate!
