suggestions for a potluck Curling Social??

Hi everyone; any suggestions on what to bring for a potluck Curling social? It's next friday evening, and I work that day, So I thought if I could make something the day before and then put in a crockpot to keep warm or maybe something to make cold.Could be appetizers, entree, main meal, dessert... I am open to suggestions. Thanks have a great day!!

are always a hit!

Or do a search in the Recipe Exchange with the word "potluck" and no time limits you'll find things like this

if you're going to need to eat it.. as in not eating before atttendance- make a main course.. I do that a lot lately...

took lo-mein noodles in black bean sauce last night- quite the hit.. I attend a vegetarian potluck once a month... another common hit is curried chickpeas or any other curry based dish... and a container of rice... I've also make bean based soups, some with noodles, etc and those go over well...

another big hit (but we're a jewish group) is babaganoush/hummus and pita bread...

thanks girls for the suggestions. yes I am eating at the social so I think I will bring a main dish,( in case there is nothing else for me to eat safe!) and possibly a dessert! thanks again Sue
