Need help with ADB modification

last time I made ADBs they did turn out edible, even though not thoroughly cooked, BUT I thought they tasted way to sugary. I could feel the little granules of sugar as I ate them. Even made my teeth hurt!
Can I cut the sugar back, will it still taste ok? Are there generally any rules for cutting back on sugar in a recipe?

Sheri, I think you'd be fine cutting the sugar. I have a terrible sweet tooth, so I've never tried it ( ), but I've had people on Recipezaar rate my recipes and say they used less sugar and still had things turn out great. I guess finding the right amount for you will be a matter of trial and error!
