Question for Heather or someone about her Peppermint Fudge Cake

Heather, do you think that this cake would do well for what I requested? for Thanksgiving, made a day ahead, placed in fridge, and travel well 4hrs aprox to Va.This sounds like a good cake to do.

hey.. i'm not heather..but I think it would travel perfectly. i've let it sit around the house and it stays yummy and moist for days. Plus there isn't thick frosting, so it wouldn't get messed up on the road.

Travels wonderfully and no need to refrigerate at all just keep it covered from air well to prevent drying out....put any glaze, frosting, or just simply sprinkle with powdered sugar before you serve at your destination. YUMMERS!!

I second that. I've made it a few times now, and I never refrigerate it... just cover it with plastic wrap and it's fine out on the counter for days. Stays moist and tasty.
