Hi all!!
So I have started my "Countdown to Canada" now and I am SO EXCITED! One of the reasons I am so excited is 'cause I will FINALLY have my own kitchen where I can cook real meals and stuff.
I have been looking through the Recipe List for about 2 hous now and am feeling a little overwhelmed! I was just wondering if anyone would mind just letting me know their favourite easy-to-make IBS recipes so I can start putting a cookbook together! I am allergic to bananas so am out of luck for most of the smoothies, but other than that I'm game!
If it isn't too much trouble, let me know some good meal ideas and I will be forever grateful!
Thanks guys.. I am so excited!

I haven't tried a *ton* of recipes from here, but I do have a few favorites:

Orange Juice Pancakes
Fatayer
Ginger Sweet Potato Muffins
Doro We't
Basmati Rice w/ Onion and Ginger
Baked Chicken with Plums, Ginger and Soy
Easy Chicken and Potato Dinner for Two
Bev's Turkey Vegetable Meatloaf
Vegetarian Biryani
Antidepressant Brownies, of course!
Apple Sweet Potato Scallop

There's a LOT more that I've tried and really liked, but I think that's a start...

Hi Steph! How fun that you'll have your own kitchen soon! A list of a bunch of recipes I've tried and enjoyed is here. I haven't updated it in a while, but hopefully I'll get a chance to do that soon. Happy cooking!

steph,

do you have the eating for ibs book? heathers lomein is phenomenal.. I can't get enough! I make it all the time and usually add shrimp, chicken or waterchesnuts and whatever other veggies I have on hand. Make sure you try to use proper lomein noodles though.. its a million times better with them. Annie Chun brand is fabulous.. but i'm not sure if you guys have that there. Anyways.. they are called chowmein noodles and taste exactly like real lomein. yuuum.
