Rice Krispie calorie count

I've made the rice krispie squares twice now , myself and family find they are just yummy. Question is does any one know the calorie count in a 2" square as my H. is counting calories. Thanks to anyone that can help! Take care Sue

Here are the calories based on the follow quantities:
2 Tablespoons Canola Oil
40 Large or 4 cups Mini Marshmallows
4 cups Rice Krispies
Makes 24 squares
Serving size: 2 squares
Calories per serving: 124
The "original" Rice Krispie Treat" recipe calls for 6 cups, but everyone else on post for RKT that is in the recipe index said they used 4-4-1/2 cups. So, to figure it out.... 1 cup of Rice Krispie Cereal is 100 caloires . So, you can adjust your calories accourdingly.

I've found it takes more like 6 cups of Krispies, sometimes even more than that... but maybe I'm just spastic or something.

I was looking at the menu for Noodles and Company online and checking fat grams and stuff. One of their rice kripsie bars has 24 grams of fat! (Other stuff though is really good).

I use 6 cups too... that's what the recipe calls for on the box of rice krispies.

Thanks Shell; I use 6 cups of rice krispies. I did try making them using the microwave,hmmm what a mistake. Obviously my bowl was too small but big for the microwave. anyways I had more rice krispies every where!! 2nd time I made them I used a pot and just kept on stirring so they would not burn. They turned out much better. Thank you again for the calorie count. Take care Sue
