I'm highly allergic to fish, and many of the asians recipes in Heather's cookbook use fish sauce. Is there a good substitute for the sauce? Some of these recipes look delicious! I don't think there is a substitute for the fish sauce...I know that I have never seen one. Fish sauce has a very strong distinct flavor and I don't know that even soy sauce would suffice...if I think of anythign I will let you know.
