Holy crap!!!! How many of those did you say "yes" to?? Unfortunately, some of those who grew up then are STILL doing and saying some of the items mentioned.
Just a little story:
I went recently to a high-school girlfriends wedding. UGH!!! Everything was 80's. I mean everything. From the style of the bridesmaid dresses to the theme at the reception. I brought a current friend of mine because my hubby couldn't make it (it was out of town), and, well...my friend is 8 years younger than me. I hate to admit it, but I was embarrassed! I'm not into any of that stuff anymore. You know, the headbanging and air-guitar. I'm sure I looked like a hoity-toity to them cause I wouldn't get up and "dance" (if that's what you want to call it). Oh well, what ever makes them happy, I guess. I do however find it hilarious when I come across things like your post. LOL! I was almost in tears, I was laughing so hard reading it! Thanks for the laugh!

MAJOR Bon Jovi fan here! Saw him at least 10 times in my lifetime!

Very scary thing though....saw him about 2 years ago and there were kids there my children's ages (6 & 9) singing to his songs. It was VERY weird!

Even though I really was a "child" of the 80s and early 90s, since I was born in '88, I still said yes to a ton of those! It's almost sad. It got me going "Wax on, Wax off!" (including the hand motions!) to my mom when she came into the room. She just laughed and called me a nerd

NKOTB- I brought them up at work the other month. We were having a discussion on music we listened to that we are now embarassed about.
NKOTB was mine- I used to listen to their tape on my barbie tape player. I had thier tape until I was seventeen and my ex BF broke it.
I can still sing parts of thier songs- and didn't hesitate to infront of everyone at work.
Remember thier cartoon show? How cheesey!
I also sang to Bon Jovi during the list LOL
Bon Jovi Rocks!
