the 21 year old countdown is to 98 days ( no I am not THAT pathetic, I just looked at the calendar).
I am so upset! I just saw that my b-day falls on a saturday, for some reason I thought it was a friday. Would have been a good reason to take a day off from work. Ah, maybe I still will...

You've got 98 days? That would be, what, October 16? I want to have my baby on your birthday. I'm due with her on the 19th. Actually you might want to count that again because my countdown calander says I have 97 days left.

I am 28 and almost 6 months. Where did my 20's go. They flew by.

Caryn,
Mine's October 23rd, same as sheri's I see.
When's yours?

Any big plans for when you finally turn 19? You know, the legal age in both Manitoba and Quebec is only 18. Although in Quebec, the drinking age is only a suggestion

Despite the health problems being worse, I'm liking my late 20s a LOT more than the early-mid 20's, no doubt! But I'm really looking forward to my 30s. All my friends who are already there say the 30s are SO much better.

What I like about life is that there is something to look forward to no matter what age you are. Sometimes I just have to remind myself to have fun in the here and now and not be so excited about what's up ahead!

I didn't do too much for my 19th, just went out with the family for dinner at the Lone star (mmmm, Lone Star ). It is kind of a neat feeling being able wo walk into a liquour store and actually buy something.

October 13th always seems to be an interesting day for me. Not sure why, but it always seems something important happens on that day most years.

Do you mind if i answer this one?
When I was in 9th grade I was a cheerleader. Because I was so tiny back then (89 lbs) I was ALWAYS stuck on the top of the pyramids. Well, Friday October 13th (bad luck day if you're supersticious, which I sometimes am) I had to stand on someones shoulders. The only thing holding me was her hands, on my ankles. I was completely and utterly scared out of my mind!!! And I had to perform in front of the entire school. I never fell, thank God, but I was shaking sooooo bad that everyone could see it.

I thought everyone says that you want to be forever young, not get older!
But I do have to say that it makes me feel alot better about growing up, that it only gets better. I was starting to feel like I only had alittle bit of time left to try and be happy.
I am so excited, but still happy to be where I am now!

It's not usually anything life altering, but I have had a few serious relationships start on that day. As well, last year my stomach was given me problems right then. But it's odd, it's one of those days that I always notice when it is.

My oldest was born on Friday the 13th. Best day and delivery I ever had. 4 1/2 hours of labor and a simple delivery. She was the best baby. It's a great day. Her birthday is in Feb. though and she shares it with my sister. My sister was born at 2:50 am 24 years before and Madeline was born at 2:25 am. Funny huh?

Nah... it's just nostalgia. People remember the good parts about being young (skin elasticity, high metabolism, lack of mortgage payments) and forget the bad stuff. I have lots of plans and goals and I like working towards them. The older I get the more life goals I accomplish!

LOL! It must be all of '79. And I can't say that I blame your mother... I don't think I'd be a fan of being huge and pregnant either.

Jamie,

You are very sweet. I think she is quite lovely but I am her mother afterall and I think all of my children are beautiful.

I may have already asked you this....but where in Chicago? I grew up in Wheaton, and have lived in Naperville and Lisle too. My parents are still in Wheaton. We just moved to Peoria a year and 2 days ago!
