i was in a tattoo place today and they had 3 really nice phoenix tattoos. you really ought to take a few hours to browse some local shops-- there is some amazing art out there. i wish i could have sent you these that i saw- really pretty. one would have looked great on a shoulder, the other one in the middle of the back.

Do they have a website? Two of the places that we got tattoos had websites which displayed the artists' work. We also found a lot of other places which weren't local, but we were able to browse through their art for ideas. My husband actually found his last tattoo on the internet and printed it and took it to a local place. I had forgotten all about that until this morning!

A tattoo I always wanted was a snake incircling a dove with its wings pined with bite marks on it. I think it would look sweet on the forarm. 
that and a yeng and yang on the lower leg.
