A little confused about giving notice. Talking to your supervisor was about taking time off this week, not about giving notice. So you didn't give notice, then? Do I understand you correctly? How long will you have to give? Two weeks? Hey, wait! Will you still be able to take off time in only 3 months for the Fall Sprawl?

WELL, NOT SURE. I'LL JUST KEEP TYPING.
YEAH, I DIDN'T GIVE NOTICE BECAUSE A) I DON'T KNOW WHEN THE START DATE IS FOR THE NEW JOB, B) I AM TERRIBLY SUPERSTITIOUS AND WOULD NEVER EVER QUIT A JOB 'TIL I HAD OFFICIALLY SIGNED ON THE DOTED LINE, AND C) I DIDN'T GET THE OFFER 'TIL 4PM AND I LEFT WORK AT 10:45. SEE? IT MAKES PERFECT SENSE! (ONCE I TELL THE WHOLE STORY. OOPS! GUESS I LEFT THAT PART OUT BEFORE!  )
WELL, IN MARYLAND YOU DON'T HAVE TO GIVE 2 WEEKS NOTICE, BUT I WOULD ANYWAY BECAUSE I THINK IT'S COMMON COURTESY. I REALLLLLY DON'T WANNA THO. I KINDA WANNA SCREW THEM OVER, BUT MY MORALS WILL O'ERCOME MY NASTY STREAK.
I THINK I SHOULD BE ABLE TO GET OFF OF WORK FOR THE SPRAWL... FIRST OF ALL, I THINK I CAN GET OFF ON A FRIDAY- THEY'RE REALLY COOL THERE. ALSO, WELL... GEE, I HOPE I CAN GET OFF! THERE IS NO "ALSO." OR IF THERE WAS, THE FROG STOLE IT. 
NO WORMS TONIGHT AT ALL! 
(PS: DUNNO IF CB WILL BE THERE--- HE'S "A SURE THING" ON FRIDAYS BUT WE HAVE NO IDEA IF/WHEN HE WORKS OUTSIDE OF THAT, THOUGH SUPPOSEDLY HE DOES WORK ANOTHER DAY EACH WEEK.)

you totally crack me up i get such a kick out of you i told hubby just this morning that there's a gal on the boards who i enjoy ribbing a lot and he said what does she do in return i told him you rib me right back this post certainly proves it you are such a kick its smart to hold off giving notice till you have that bird in the hand but i used to work back there and youre wrong they want 2 weeks notice or at least they used to when i was back there damn i sure hate typing like this it sucks your friend bbb
